The Branding Logo project was an assignment where I was tasked with creating a trademark for my imaginary company. The first step of the process was that I had to create various types of logos, such as the primary, secondary, submark, and favicon logos. After establishing the logos, I created a spread where I added the logos and also the types of fonts and colors that will consist in the company's brand mark.

The project, Trojan Spread, was an assignment where I had to create various posters and a spread about a classmate, whom I appreciate. Over many weeks, this project took many different steps, ranging from taking photos of the individual, to polarizing the images, and creatively designing the poster and spread. Additionally, I also had to write an article about his talents to make a mockup of a magazine. For this assignment, I decided to feature my graphic design peer, Shiv Pisal, with his consent.
First Poster
"Shiv Pisal (17), a senior here at Uni, is known for his outstanding talent in many activities. Some activities that he excels in, range from video games to playing instruments, and, most notably, graphic design. Shiv has established himself as one of the most creative and talented artists in this field at this school. From playing around using tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Shiv has the ultimate skills of creativity and originality. His journey in this subject began this year, when his passion for arts met the computer. As a talented artist, Shiv is able to translate abstractive ideas into visually stunning art pieces, which are all eye-openers to the audience. Up to this moment, he has created numerous graphic design pieces, all of them being more creative than the former. With every new composition, it seems that Shiv has progressed more significantly. His various works have clearly shown Shiv’s talent in this subject. Within the next few weeks, it is planned that the graphic design class will have to create a music album poster. Given the skills Shiv has demonstrated in his works up to this moment, it is most likely that his design for the album posters won’t disappoint the audience. In the end, if anyone needs help with graphic design, Shiv Pisal is the guy to ask."
The Historical Ad Poster was a project where I traced a historical advertisement and reimagined it in various ways. For my composition, I chose to outline a portrait of a woman with cracks on her face, which was originally from a medical advertisement regarding the topic of stress. I decided to make the woman appear more stressed by portraying her as if she was directly, “cracking from pressure" by making her face more disintegrating.
The Historical Ad Poster consists of several variations originating from the original tracing I created, as seen in the first slide below. These Reimagined variations consist of different colors, temperature tones, and, importantly, different amounts of face disintegrating.

The following artworks were all introductory projects assigned earlier this school year. In order to expose students to using apps such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, small introductory projects like these were commonly assigned.
Ransom Name Sticker: This was my first project of the year. The goal of this project was to transform my name card into many other creative varieties.
Type Anatomy name card: This project was designed to introduce the graphic design class to type anatomy and the small details that go along with it.
Type Specimen Poster: As simple as the product shown on the right may look, this project was designed to connect all of our understanding of type fonts, faces, and its anatomy. For my poster, I chose the Burnaby stencil font, which heavily resembles a warning sign stencil.
